Description
Elecont Weather is the most powerful and reliable Windows Mobile weather forecast software.. With Elecont Weather you can be secured against any weather surprises. You will always be informed about the weather forecast as well as about the event of a severe thunderstorm, tornado, blizzard, hurricane, or other natural disasters.

The most interesting feature is Barometer - a diagram showing the pressure changes during the past 24 hours. Now you always know the cause of headache, if it is linked with changes in the air pressure. When Barometer detects pressure changes then it signals with a red color.

Elecont Weather reports current outdoor Solar Activity and predicts UV Index for the next 48 hours which provides important information to help you plan outdoor activities in ways that prevent overexposure to the sun. Elecont Weather displays the alert in case if Solar Activity is too high - it may be very important for people with sensitive skin.

Elecont Weather adds on your Home/Today screen only necessary weather forecast data, allowing you to choose how much you need it and where to display it. Weather information is displayed with animated effects.

Elecont Weather allows you to save screen space for maximum of your important data (like todo/calendar just as other plugins). With 1-line layout weather forecast will take only one line of your display. Elecont Weather has several forecast layouts, optimized for different display sizes.

More detailed weather information is also available within detailed window.

SBSH PocketWeather v2.3.1

License: Free Price: Free Description

Get worldwide weather reports directly to your Windows Mobile device anytime! The best weather tracking solution for Windows Mobile devices, featuring a robust weather engine wrapped with a stylish and simple to use user interface.

PocketWeather provides a wide range of settings which allow you to select your locations, order them by importance, set the frequency of updates, choose your preferred language and more. You can also choose how your locations are displayed on the Today screen and if you have a high-end device, you can select VGA icons for extra eye-candy points.

For many users, the weather data you have on your device will be updated most often via your dock or USB cable. I found that I had to adjust the connection settings in PocketWeather manually in order to allow it to connect in this way. Another small issue I had was that I couldn’t set the program to update forecast data more than once every four hours. Updating current conditions can be done far more frequently, but I feel that forecast data ought to be just as up to date. Finally, I found that if I changed any settings, I would have to ‘apply’ them before moving to another tab in the options dialog. A warning would come in handy here, as at first I kept losing changes I had made because they were discarded automatically.
