Description
Infinite Ventures, Inc., developer and publisher of PDA and mobile phone games announced today the release of Football Director for Microsoft Pocket PC compatible devices, the first football management game for mobile devices. Developed by RW Software, Football Director brings football management out of the English football league stadiums and straight to the Pocket PC owner’s screen.

“Mobile devices are the right fit for a sports management game like Football Director,” said Eugene Evans, president, Infinite Ventures. “Load the game up and play every chance you get. Fans and novices alike can step out of the armchair and into the role of team manager for any number of professional football clubs from the English domestic league,” added Evans. “RW Software has developed a game rich in content and depth for a true experience managing everything from front office, to player selection, to game strategies.”

Players can make decisions about pre-season, match and cup play, attacking play styles, defensive strategies, formations, and levels of aggression. Create teams with hundreds of real players using 2003-2004 season stats from over 90 real clubs in four divisions.

Developer RW Software brings 15 years of experience creating the Football Director line of management simulation games, starting in the early days of Play By Mail. “We’re delighted to bring Football Director to fruition with an experienced Pocket PC publisher like Infinite Ventures,” commented Roger Womack, managing director of RW Software. “We look forward to the continued line of new season and league updates for the game.”
